This piece was done as a gift like many of my custom pieces are gifts and I don't usually get to hear how the recipients react to their gift. But here is one that sent her comments to me and I asked permission to post them.

You are an excellent artist, I think you paint with your heart ... that's why your portraits are so "real". I told Matt that your painting looks more like Vito than the photograph. So many people love it and have commented on it on Facebook.

I'm unable to leave a review because I didn't purchase the item. You can certainly use my comment and photo for a review. Edit it however you'd like. I'm just over-the-moon happy with the portrait.
On Facebook, so far it's received 95 likes and over 30 comments praising the portrait.

Vito died on December 8th. We had to have him put to sleep due to bone cancer. This portrait is special and also has been part of my healing process.
